Territory Manager/Sales Rep for Wisconsin

This position will be responsible for:

  • Actively calling on a customer network within an assigned Territory.
  • Achieving annual sales goals within the assigned Territory.
  • Training customers on the SMA website and other interactive tools.
  • Developing new customers and market segments in the area.
  • Researching and recommending new product opportunities.

Requirements Include:

  • Experience with calling on a customer dealer network.
  • Experience within the agricultural industry.
  • Excellent communication and sales skills.
  • Ability to travel 90% of the time.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong understanding of the aftermarket/all-makes agricultural parts market.
  • Previous experience working in production agriculture.
  • Experience working with farm supply stores, farm equipment dealerships, or similar.
  • Bachelor's degree in sales or agricultural related field.
  • Live in territory this position is responsible for.

Customer Service:



Customer Service Manager - Jonesboro

Essential Functions: The Customer Service Manager hires, trains and manages Customer Service Representatives to ensure efficient, professional, and quality customer service to SMA’s customers.

Duties:

  • Supervise all Customer Service personnel as it relates to attendance and performance. Promote a team environment and ensure best practices are adopted.
  • Ensure standards for performance, quality, productivity and attendance are met; posts statistics as appropriate. Monitor progress and results, then make sound managerial decisions.
  • Encourage continuous improvement; involve others in process improvement efforts; encourage/coach individuals to follow a systematic improvement process.
  • Facilitate the development and implementation of processes that deliver excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Forecast and meet staffing requirements based on call volumes and service workload.
  • Effectively identify and resolve customer issues and problems.
  • Minimize call escalations through effective coaching and support.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for customer issues that require a higher degree of expertise; ensure timely resolution.
  • Facilitate accurate credits and adjustments within the call center.
  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management. Communicate business strategies and sales-related programs to call center staff.
  • Interact with different parts of the organization to pull in the resources / information required to meet customer expectations.
  • Attend ongoing training in customer service management.
  • Take initiative to learn about the parts / products that SMA sells.
  • Perform all other duties as required.

Skills:

  • 5 plus years of customer service and / or call center experience required.
  • Knowledge of agricultural products and applications preferred.
  • 2 plus years of experience as a manager preferred.
  • Ability to interact with the customer service representatives in a positive and professional manner.
  • Attitude -- Possess a sincere desire to please customers. (The ability to interact with the customer in an honest, positive, and professional manner is imperative to the success of the department and the company.)
  • Communication -- Effective interpersonal and written communication skills. Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions; very good at phone and email contact with customers and other employees.
  • Dependability - Follows instructions; responds to management direction; takes responsibility for own actions; keeps commitments; completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan.
  • Demonstrates positive example, and a commitment to company values.
  • Experience using electronic spreadsheet, database, word processing and graphical presentation software using the Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word and Power Point). Ability to learn CRM and other company specific programs.

Customer Service Rep - Jonesboro

Tasks:

  • Maintain customer relationships by providing outstanding customer service.
  • Receive inbound calls and enter customer orders.
  • Provide pricing, availability, and delivery information to customers.
  • Research, identify, and effectively communicate product information to customers.
  • Maintain electronic customer account information.
  • Provide support to field sales team.

  • Familiarity with agricultural or other heavy equipment
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office products
  • 2+ Years of experience working in a customer-facing role
